Welcome to the 2025-26 Season

Dear Players and Parents,
 
My name is Eric Morin and I am thrilled to serve as the Head Coach for the U11 Osgoode Richmond Romans for the upcoming 2025/26 season. I look forward to working with this talented group of kids, fostering their development both on and off the ice and ensuring that each trip to the rink is enjoyable and rewarding.
 
Having previously been involved with the Romans, I am excited to return this time as Head Coach. My commitment is to provide a season filled with fun, high-paced practices that emphasize individual skills, tactical awareness, and team tactics.
 
I encourage all players born in 2015 to attend the upcoming tryouts. These sessions will be competitive, with each player given an equal opportunity to showcase their abilities. Independent evaluators will assess all participants, and I will be looking for players who demonstrate a high hockey IQ and a strong team-oriented mindset.
 
Our objectives for the season extend beyond skill development on the ice. We aim to promote values such as teamwork, respect, discipline, fair play, enthusiasm, commitment, effort, and tenacity which are qualities that are essential both in hockey and in life. Together with the coaching staff, I am dedicated to creating a safe and positive learning environment that supports the growth of each player and the team as a whole.
 
The team has been registered for the following four tournaments:
 
Halton Hills Best of the Best Tournament – October 10–12
Brockville Braves Hockey Tournament – December 5-7
Bell Capital Cup – December 27–31
Green Mountain Avalanche Jay Peak, VT – February 6–8
 
My goal is to build a competitive team that represents the Osgoode Richmond Romans. I am committed to bringing a positive attitude to every session and ensuring that each player leaves the rink with a smile and eagerness to return. I look forward to this exciting season together and seeing everyone at the rink.
